Fahan School win 2010 Youth Challenge
Year 9 and 10 Computing students at Fahan School celebrated today when it was announced at an awards ceremony in Launceston that they were the winners of the 2010 Crime Stoppers Youth Challenge.
This year the Youth Challenge, a competition for students in years 5 to 10, asked students to examine the issues associated with e-safety and to produce a piece of work that would assist in reducing crime.
After it was announced that the girls had won the competition Police Commissioner, Darren Hine, got up on the stage to congratulate them and said that watching their film clip was still an emotional experience for him.
