This Years TopicThis years topic is 'Bullying, and when does it become a police matter' is especially relevant and contemporary. We are anticipating that the broad nature of the topic will provide limitless avenues of exploration and shall generate considerable interest from students and teachers alike. It is hoped that the Youth Challenge is supported by past participants and attracts an abundance of entries from schools that may not have previously taken part. Perhaps, in 2008 we will establish a new record for the level of participation! It was wonderful that so many students and teachers were prepared to embrace the opportunities and experiences presented by the previous year's competition. In 2007, we were impressed by the outstanding calibre of work produced from all age groups. In its seventh year, is specifically designed to encourage students to work in groups, explore connections with the community, and examine their own beliefs and the motivations of others.
